Application of a Pasquini & Bini seedling pot

Pasquini & Bini seedling pots are ideal for vegetables, flowers, herbs and ornamental plants. They ensure healthy root system development, which is the key to successful plant cultivation.

Suitable soils for seedlings:

• Janeco Light Mix - this is the best-selling soil in the growshop Gradinar
• Plagron Light Mix - Equivalent to Janeco Light Mix by Plagron
• Plagron Seeding and Cutting soil - Specially formulated for germination and cuttings. Small pack of 25 l.

⛔️ Avoid heavy garden soils that retain too much moisture and can lead to root rot.

How to make seedlings

Once you have prepared the pots and soil, it's time to plant the seeds:

1. Fill the seedling pot with the prepared soil, leaving about 1-2 cm to the edge.
2. Place 1 seed 1 cm deep, or according to package instructions.
3. Cover with a thin layer of soil and tamp lightly.
4. Spray carefully with a spray bottle to avoid displacing the seeds.

5. For seeds to germinate successfully, it is important to maintain optimal temperature and humidity .

   ✔ Temperature : 18-25°C
   

   ✔ Humidity : About 80-90% - cover the pots with plastic or use one of our propagators designed specifically for seedlings.
   

   ✔ Light : Keep seedlings in a sunny location or use LED grow lights

   ✔ Watering : Keep the soil moist but not wet

   🌱 After germination (7-14 days) , move the seedlings to a brighter location and gradually reduce the humidity.
