Plagron soils
Plagron offers several types of soil mixtures, which differ in nutritional value and structure to suit different needs and growing styles. We will describe them here, with additional information in the link to each soil.
PlagronPromix
A minimal nutrient soil based on peat and perlite. Ideal for growers who want complete control over fertilization as Promix does not come pre-loaded with a large amount of nutrients.
PlagronLightmix
Soil with a light pre-fertilization and balanced structure for good drainage and aeration. Very popular with us. Excellent for starting seedlings or young plants, as it provides an initial set of nutrients without "overfertilizing".
PlagronGrowmix
A nutrient-rich soil with sufficient reserves for the first few weeks of growth. Suitable for intermediate and experienced gardeners looking for less intervention and a stable base for their plants.
PlagronAllmixandBatmix
Substrates with high nutritional value, enriched with organic components (including guano and/or composted manure). Suitable for plants that need more intensive nutrition, especially during the flowering period. Rich in macro- and microelements, they promote abundant color and fruit.
Fertilizers from Plagron
Plagron's fertilizer portfolio is divided into several lines, tailored to the respective substrate or growing method.
Description: Organic fertilizers based on algae. Suitable for organic cultivation (in Allmix, Batmix, Promix), without disturbing the microbial life in the substrate. On the contrary, these fertilizers structure the soil and promote the development of soil life. Alga Grow is applied during the growth phase, and Alga Bloom during the flowering phase.
Mineral fertilizers specially developed for growing in soil (Lightmix, Growmix). Direct absorption by plants, clear application scheme with dosages according to the week. While Alga Grow and Bloom need to be processed by soil life before being available to the plant, with Terra Grow and Bloom things are not like that. Terra Grow for growth, Terra Bloom for flowering; easily combined with Power Roots, Pure Zym and other supplements.
Two-component fertilizer optimized for coco fiber substrate (Cocos Premium, Cocos Slab, etc.). Offers a stable base for nutrition at different phases and maintains the correct EC balance in the coco. Separate components (A and B) for mixing in water to ensure the exact nutrient profile.
Specialized fertilizers for hydroponic systems, guaranteeing solubility and fast effect. Easily manage pH and EC levels, providing precise conditions for the root zone. Suitable for both drip irrigation and recirculating hydroponic systems. For example, some of our Wilma systems.
Vitamins and supplements from Plagron

Power Roots
A root stimulator that promotes the development of a strong and healthy root system. Recommended in the early stages of growth and when transplanting.
Pure Zym
Plagron enzyme preparation that helps break down dead organic matter in the substrate. Helps improve nutrient absorption and a healthier root zone.
Green Sensation
A flowering booster that combines phosphorus, potassium and trace elements. It is applied in the last part of the growth cycle to increase yield and density of flowers/fruits. This is a legendary product that we highly recommend!
Sugar Royal
Stimulates the natural processes related to the production of sugars and essential oils in plants. Improves the taste and aroma of the final product. Also one of the very successful Plagron products.
Power Buds
Strengthens flowering and promotes the formation of larger and denser inflorescences. Specially formulated for the flowering period.
Growing combinations fromPlagron
Plagron supports its customers with detailed schemes that show how to combine the different substrates, basic fertilizers and additives depending on the growth and flowering period. It is important not to mix schemes from different lines – each line (NATURAL, TERRA, COCO, HYDRO) has its own feeding regime and recommended EC and pH values.
Growing in soil withAlgae Grow and Algae Bloom (100% NATURAL)
Use Substrates:Promix, Allmix, Batmix.
Basic fertilizers: Alga Grow, Alga Bloom.
Additives: Power Roots and Pure Zym for root health and enzymatic breakdown. Green Sensation, Sugar Royal or Power Buds for enhanced flowering.
Watering with the prepared solution at each watering, observing the weekly dosage increase.
In this combination, there is no need to monitor pH and EC levels - the soil and fertilizer will do the work naturally.
Growing in soil with TerraGrow and Terra Bloom by Plagron
Use Substrates:Lightmix, Growmix.
Basic fertilizers: Terra Grow (growth), Terra Bloom (blooming).
Additives: Power Roots and Pure Zym for root health and enzymatic breakdown. Green Sensation, Sugar Royal or Power Buds for enhanced flowering.
Watering with the prepared solution at each watering, observing the weekly dosage increase.
Follow the pH between 5.5 and 6.5 and carefully monitor the EC values (for TERRA they are around 1.0–2.0, depending on the week).
Hydroponics cultivation with Plagron products (100% HYDRO)
Substrate: Expanded clay (euro pebbles from Plagron) or other soilless media.
Basic fertilizers: Hydro A & B
Additives: Hydro Roots (for root stimulation). Green Sensation, Power Buds for the flowering phase.
Method: Continuous circulation or drip irrigation. Recommended pH 5.5 – 6.5 and EC between 1.4 and 2.3 (gradually increases according to growth stage).
Growing in coconut (100% COCO)
Substrate: Cocos Premium, Cocos Slab, Cocos 60/40, Cocos Perlite 70/30, etc.
Basic fertilizers: Cocos A & B, divided into two bottles, are mixed simultaneously in water.
Additives: Power Roots and Pure Zym in the early weeks. Green Sensation, Sugar Royal or Power Buds during the flowering phase.
Technique: Watering at each irrigation cycle, maintaining proper drainage. EC value: 1.3 – 2.5, gradual growth in doses is achieved, according to the official Plagron scheme.
