You can use MR1 for growing on soil and coconut substrates and hydroponics. There is a difference between buffered coconut substrate and sterilized coconut substrate! With a sterilized coconut substrate, treat it like a hydroponic medium and provide the nutrient solution 6 times a day. With buffered coco, you provide the nutrient solution only when the plant needs it. And you use MR1 fertilizer for growing in hydroponic systems. For DWC deepwater culture systems, use the DWC table. You must adjust the pH value when growing with MR1. We recommend a pH between 5.4 and 6.2 for your nutrient solution.
