How it works:

Vitamin B1 (also known as thiamine) is well known for its positive effects on plant growth. In fact, Dr. AA Thomson, the creator of SUPERthrive, discovered much of what we now know about B1. As early as 1939, he experimented with B1 and noticed that its addition helped the root system of plants to grow larger and faster. Further testing along with the addition of other compounds finally led to the creation of SUPERthrive in 1940. The proprietary blend, which is added along with vitamin B1, is primarily derived from algae. This algae is naturally rich in auxins, which are critical to plant processes and help promote growth and overall health. The blend also contains both soluble and insoluble nitrogen as well as other trace elements, resulting in a highly concentrated and highly effective solution for overall plant health. It will alleviate most plant stress situations, stop transplant shock and help maximize root, vegetative and even flower production! In our opinion, this is a must-have supplement for any diet.

How to use SUPERthrive:

SUPERthrive can be used in many ways. The concentrated formula is suitable for all growth stages and can be used as a medium or system. It is designed to supplement your usual plant foods and therefore should be used alongside your usual macronutrient. Below we've listed the best application methods and when to use them.

For general health/supplement in plants grown in soil or coco, use 1ml per 3-4 liters of water once a week. Some growers choose to use this rate or slightly less with each watering. For plants grown hydroponically, use 0.3-1.3 ml per 3-4 liters.

To improve the germination rate, the seeds can be soaked in a solution of 1 ml per 3-4 liters of water before germination. Once germinated, this dose can be continued with watering to help improve root growth.

For stressed plants or those being transplanted, we recommend a higher dose of 13 ml per 10 liters of water for at least one week or until all signs of problems have stopped.

It can also be used as a foliar spray, this is another very effective way to deal with stressed plants as the solution is absorbed quickly. If using only as a general supplement, we recommend only foliar feeding during the vegetative and early flowering periods. Use 15 ml per 10 liters of water.
